Centennial is a perfect 10-0 against Central since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will take on the Cobras at 4:00 p.m. Centennial is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Paislyn Ankiel made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Ava Sparkman was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Madison Pena-Romero was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.
Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
Everything went Centennial's way against Central when the teams last played last Tuesday, as Centennial made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
