Softball Recap: Palisades Park Tigers vs. Cresskill Cougars

Palisades Park extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-13 in the process. They came up short against the Cresskill Cougars, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in April.

As for Cresskill, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

For Cresskill's part, they got a massive performance out of Caitlin Mcgee, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave Mcgee a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelina Cecere, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palisades Park will take on Elmwood Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cresskill, they will square off against Park Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
