Softball Recap: Haddon Township Comes Up Short

Haddon Township and Pitman squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Haddon Township had to settle for second. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 11-2. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Hawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Haddon Township has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Pitman, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Haddon Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pitman, they will square off against Pennsville Memorial on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
