Regis Groff came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Denver West Cowboys 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Fusion, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Regis Groff walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-21.

Daisha Gordon paced Regis Groff's offense, picking up 13 kills. Gordon got some help from Brenda Bangala and her 24 assists. Bangala was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Regis Groff's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Denver West, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-6.

Coming up, Regis Groff will face off against Thomas Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Denver West, they will challenge Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
