Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caribou). They put the hurt on the Fort Kent Warriors with a sharp 22-2 victory on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The win made it two in a row for Caribou and bumps their season record up to 9-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Fort Kent, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Caribou will take on Old Town at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Coyotes' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
