Soccer Game Preview: Morris vs. Sycamore

Morris hasn't had much luck against Sycamore recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Redskins will welcome the Spartans at 4:30 p.m.

Morris is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Kaneland on Monday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Sycamore kept a clean sheet against Ottawa on Monday. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 5-0 victory. Considering Sycamore have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Ottawa with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cortni Kruizenga (2), Kelsie Ryder, Izzie Segreti, and Peyton Wright.

The win made it two in a row for Sycamore and bumps their season record up to 13-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two matches. As for Morris, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-1.
