Mountain Brook has won three straight games at home, while Boaz has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Spartans will host the Pirates at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mountain Brook's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Huffman with a sharp 15-0 win. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Boaz got the win against Douglas on Thursday by a conclusive 7-0. That's two games straight that the Pirates have won by exactly seven runs.

Boaz has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Mountain Brook, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.
