Game recap: Kingsley's four passing touchdowns help Woodland Regional high school football team best St. Paul Catholic

Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, Conn.) defeated St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, Conn.) 54-28 while riding the arm of Tanner Kingsley, who tossed four touchdown passes.

After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Kingsley to Anthony Scirpo in the first quarter, the Hawks led 48-7 at the half.

Woodland Regional scored 12 points on special teams on the way to the victory.

A 27-17 Woodland Regional victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

In a Naugatuck Valley - Copper game next week Woodland Regional (3-1) takes on Torrington, and St. Paul Catholic (0-5) will go up against Wilby in a non-conference game.
