Erie-Prophetstown came tearing into Saturday's match with 21 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Peoria Lions by a score of 2-0. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Frank Alaina paced Erie-Prophetstown's offense, picking up six kills. Alaina got some help from Renkes Wynn and her ten assists. Milem Lia controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Erie-Prophetstown's victory bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Peoria, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Erie-Prophetstown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Sherrard on the 11th. As for Peoria, they will host Danville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
