Softball Recap: Inglemoor Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

It's playoff time, and Inglemoor had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Garfield Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Inglemoor got a great performance from Malin Homes (2028) as she tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Alexa Saladin (2025) (PLU) was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and three RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Cisneroz (2025), who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Inglemoor's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Garfield, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6.

Inglemoor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Garfield, they will take on West Seattle at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
