Volleyball Recap: Channel Islands Beats Nordhoff for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Channel Islands had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Nordhoff Rangers. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 27-25.

Brandon Romero paced Channel Islands' offense, picking up 13 kills. Romero got some help from Daniel Miranda and his 24 assists.

Channel Islands' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Nordhoff, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5.

Channel Islands wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Fillmore on the 20th. As for Nordhoff, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Malibu on the 20th.
