Baseball Recap: Millbrook Takes a Loss

Millbrook fell victim to Sherando and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 6-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Millbrook's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Sherando, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Millbrook will challenge rival Brentsville District at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sherando is set to take on their familiar foe Kettle Run at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3, the Cougars 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
