Cherokee County waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Fayette County Tigers.

Mattie Green paced Cherokee County's offense, picking up seven kills. Green got some help from Macy Lea and her 14 assists. Ava Haygood and Jolie Alexander kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Cherokee County's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Fayette County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Cherokee County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Addison on the 23rd. As for Fayette County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hatton on the 23rd.
