Football Preview: Riverton Rams vs. Eureka Tornadoes
Riverton has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Eureka Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m.
Riverton will head into Friday's match ready to turn things around: they lost a close one when they played two weeks ago but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on Friday was a bit more commanding. They were outmatched by Caney Valley on the road and fell 51-14.
Meanwhile, Eureka sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-30 win over Reno County HomeSchool on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Tornadoes' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Sabres are ranked 39th).
It was another big night for Peyton Hare, who threw for 171 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
