If Bonney Lake wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lakes, they should've done a better job of containing Jadis Lefono. The Lancers took down the Panthers 21-2 on Friday thanks in part to Lefono, who rushed for 85 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries, and also threw for 128 yards and one touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 78 yards.

Lakes has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Lakes wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 21-17 victory against Curtis on the 19th. As for Bonney Lake, they have also already played their next contest, a 41-32 defeat against Peninsula on the 19th.
