Basketball Recap: T.W. Andrews Red Raiders vs. West Stokes Wildcats
The T.W. Andrews Red Raiders can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 63-20 victory over West Stokes on the road. The win was nothing new for T.W. Andrews as they're now sitting on nine straight.
T.W. Andrews was led to victory by Janiya Milligan and Sanai' Johnson. Milligan scored 14 points along with three steals, while Johnson scored 18 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Stephany Stafford, who scored six points along with two steals.
T.W. Andrews pushed their record up to 17-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for West Stokes, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. T.W. Andrews is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Morehead will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 562nd, while the Red Raiders are ranked 146th). As for West Stokes, they will head out on the road to square off against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
