Basketball Recap: Shakamak Takes a Loss

Shakamak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 57-44 to the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves. That's two games in a row now that the Lakers have lost by exactly 13 points.

Shakamak's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shakamak will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on White River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, they will head out on the road to face off against Columbus North at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
