Adrian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-35 W against the Huron River Rats. Given the Maples' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the River Rats are ranked 462nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Adrian's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Huron, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.

Adrian will welcome Ida at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Huron, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
