Football Recap: Randleman Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Randleman lost against Eastern Randolph back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers lost 35-14 to the Wildcats.

Although Randleman took the loss, they still got scores from Nazir Staton and Kayden Saunders.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastern Randolph to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kobe Walker, who rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade McCallum, who threw for 112 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine passes.

Randleman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Eastern Randolph, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Randleman and Eastern Randolph should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Tigers will take on Asheboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (130 vs. 272). Meanwhile, Eastern Randolph (ranked 58th) will meet Union Pines (ranked 205th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
