Basketball Recap: Addie Mason's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Shoshoni over Kemmerer

Shoshoni was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 38-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kemmerer Rangers. The Wranglers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rangers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Several Wranglers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addie Mason, who posted eight points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Mason a new career-high in steals. Brenna Metzler was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Shoshoni's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Kemmerer, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.

Coming up, Shoshoni will square off against Hot Springs County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kemmerer, they will take on Wind River at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
