Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt lost against Streetsboro on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rough Riders lost 19-9 to the Rockets. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lily Robb made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Satola, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Roosevelt now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Streetsboro, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Roosevelt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Garfield on the 3rd. As for Streetsboro, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-2 loss against Kenston on the 1st.
