Nashville Christian won the last time they faced Mount Juliet Christian Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Nashville Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-5.

Nashville Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nashville Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe University School of Nashville at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mount Juliet Christian Academy will challenge rival Donelson Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
