Nansemond River is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Grassfield: they outscored them in every quarter. Nansemond River enjoyed a cozy 61-46 victory over Grassfield on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

It was another big night for Brittany Evans, who went 12-for-28 on her way to 34 points and three steals. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jordin Richardson, who posted nine points along with five boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, Woodside entered their tilt with Gloucester on Tuesday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Dukes with a sharp 63-38 victory. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 25 points or more this season.

Woodside's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Nansemond River, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 16-5.

Nansemond River lost to Woodside on the road by a decisive 37-22 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. Can Nansemond River avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
