Recap: North Sanpete Hawks vs. Juab Wasps
There's no place like home for the North Sanpete Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 63-58 victory over Juab on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Cole Cook, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. He also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Ridge Hendry, who scored 13 points.
North Sanpete's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Juab, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3.
North Sanpete will head out on the road to face off against Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Delta is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Juab, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Canyon View's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
