The Parrish Community Bulls will challenge the Bayshore Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Parrish Community's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Bayshore has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Vince Barry looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

At the plate, Ja'Brien Quiles was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Maassen, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Greene wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Diego Villegas, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Parrish Community's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bayshore, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Parrish Community has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bayshore struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.6 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
