Baseball Recap: Vermillion Starts Season with Victory Against Dakota Valley

Vermillion had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dakota Valley Panthers a 1-0 shutout on Monday. The game was the first time the Tanagers have beaten the Panthers on their field since April 10, 2022.

Dakota Valley's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.
