Softball Recap: Hull-Daisetta Comes Up Short

Hull-Daisetta fell victim to Crockett and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Crockett Bulldogs, falling 17-0.

Hull-Daisetta saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lanee Moseley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. Moseley has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Hull-Daisetta's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Crockett, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Hull-Daisetta Bobcats duke it out with Brookeland Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hull-Daisetta has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Crockett, they will challenge Coldspring-Oakhurst at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th. Crockett is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
