Joliet West has gone 8-2 against Plainfield East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Bengals at 6:30 p.m. Joliet West has given up an average of 53.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Joliet West is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Butler on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 460th, while the Lynx are ranked 128th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Natalie Clemente, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jada Thompson, who posted 11 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Plainfield East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Plainfield South 64-23.

Plainfield East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Joliet West, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Joliet West didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Plainfield East when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 59-53 win.
