After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Helix, Mount Miguel was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the El Cajon Valley Braves. The high-scoring effort was just what the Matadors needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Gabriella Sanchez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.
