Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Belle). They put the hurt on the Fayette Falcons with a sharp 62-41 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

When it comes to explaining why Fayette lost, don't look at Kaleb Friebe. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points and six steals. Friebe has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Oeth, who earned five points.

Belle's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fayette, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Belle has already played their next game (against Missouri Military Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fayette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-54 defeat against North Callaway on the 20th.
