Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty lost against Quincy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Blue Devils. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17.

Quincy was led to victory by Avary Hlubek and Leah Knudson. Hlubek had six aces and three digs, while Knudson had seven digs. Those six aces gave Hlubek a new career-high.

Liberty now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Quincy, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against MICDS on the 4th. As for Quincy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Mater Dei on the 3rd.
