Red Bluff and Shasta are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but not for long. The Red Bluff Spartans are taking a road trip to challenge the Shasta Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Red Bluff came up short against Pleasant Valley and fell 44-32.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Bryce Owens, who posted ten points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Ryan Ross, who scored ten points.

Shasta got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-64 win over Chico on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since December 7, 2024.
Shasta's win bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Red Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
Red Bluff skirted past Shasta 64-61 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Red Bluff since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
