Basketball Recap: Mt. Olive Wildcats vs. North Greene Spartans
Mt. Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the North Greene Spartans, falling 60-30. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 58-25 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Mt. Olive's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matthew Bywater, who posted seven points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Mt. Olive's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for North Greene, their win bumped their record up to 14-15.
