Basketball Recap: Murphy Falls Short of Park Crossing in the Playoffs

Murphy and Park Crossing squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Murphy had to settle for second. They lost 56-32 to the Park Crossing Thunderbirds. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since January 16th.

Saniya Jackson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Park Crossing, almost dropping a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. The match was Jackson's 11th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aminata Fall, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 14 points.

Murphy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Park Crossing, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 31-1.

As of now, neither Murphy nor Park Crossing have any future games scheduled.
