James Files Game Report: vs Mendenhall

James Files gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Quitman: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 10-12 otherwise.
