Volleyball Recap: Paoli Comes Up Short

Paoli lost against Orleans back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Paoli was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Orleans' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-13, 25-15.

Gracie Burger paced Paoli's offense, picking up five kills. Burger got some help from Maddie Vernon and her nine assists.

Orleans got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Meredith Lantis out in front who had seven digs and two aces. Lantis is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Paoli's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Orleans, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.

Paoli wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Springs Valley on the 2nd. As for Orleans, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Northeast Dubois on the 2nd.
