Softball Recap: Rogers Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Rogers barely beat Scott the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 17-0 shutout on Thursday. The Rams not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30, 2025 (when they won 27-8).

The victory made it two in a row for Rogers and bumps their season record up to 2-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Scott, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Rogers will head out on the road to challenge Bowsher at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Scott does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
