Basketball Recap: Burton Comes Up Short

Burton lost against Mumford back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Burton Panthers were beaten by the Mumford Mustangs 60-33. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Mumford, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-9.

Burton will square off against Somerville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burton is facing Somerville at the right time seeing as Somerville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Mumford, they will head out on the road to square off against Snook at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mumford will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Snook will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's game.
