Desert Mountain hasn't had much luck against Mountain Pointe recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Desert Mountain Wolves will head out to face off against the Mountain Pointe Pride at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Pointe took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Desert Mountain, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Desert Mountain finally turned things around against Arizona College Prep on Tuesday. They blew past the Knights 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Wolves have posted since September 5th.

Desert Mountain's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Arizona College Prep between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Mountain Pointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Campo Verde.
