Football Recap: Eli Tays Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Tishomingo County

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Baldwyn, Kossuth was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 41-28 win over the Tishomingo County Braves. For the Aggies, this counts as revenge for the 14-7 victory the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Kossuth's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Tays, who rushed for 79 yards and two TDs on only six carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 52 yards. Landen Pittman was another key rusher, rushing for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries.
