Football Game Preview: Carolina Crusaders vs. Asheville Saints

Carolina Crusaders are packing up and hiking across state lines for their match on Saturday. They have had some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next matchup, which is against Asheville Saints at 4:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.

It was all tied up at halftime, but Carolina Crusaders weren't quite Anderson Cavaliers' equal in the second half when they met two weeks ago. Carolina Crusaders ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-30 walloping at Anderson Cavaliers' hands. Carolina Crusaders were down by 0-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Asheville Saints won against Davie Pride with 36 points, and Asheville Saints decided to stick to that point total again last week. Asheville Saints took their game against Tennessee Silverbacks 36-22.

Asheville Saints's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Carolina Crusaders's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Asheville Saints can add another positive mark to their record or if Carolina Crusaders can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Asheville Saints's step.
