Soccer Recap: Temescal Canyon Takes a Loss

Temescal Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Elsinore Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Temescal Canyon's record now sits at 5-13-3. As for Elsinore, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Temescal Canyon will host Tahquitz at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tahquitz's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Elsinore, they will be playing at home against San Jacinto at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. San Jacinto will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Elsinore surely won't give up without a fight.
