Baseball Recap: Sayre Redskins vs. Canton Warriors

Sayre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Canton Warriors, falling 13-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-7 back in March.

Karter Green was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
