Football Recap: Pioneer Takes a Loss

Pioneer was the 41-13 winner over West Seneca East when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 22-6 bruising from the Trojans on Friday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pioneer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for West Seneca East, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Pioneer will head out on the road to face off against Lewiston-Porter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Seneca East, they will welcome South Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sparks' defense has only allowed 14.4 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
