Baseball Recap: Eagle Rock Takes a Loss

Eagle Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Glendale Nitros. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 6-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Jaden Jimenez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jake Sugi, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.

Eagle Rock's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Glendale, their win bumped their record up to 2-11.

Eagle Rock has already played their next game, a 7-6 defeat against Monroe on the 24th. As for Glendale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 victory against Vasquez on the 28th.
