Basketball Recap: North Iredell Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

North Iredell strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 66-60 W against the East Wilkes Cardinals.

North Iredell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Syre Moon out in front who shot 45% from the field en route to 14 points in addition to six steals and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Ward, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine assists.

North Iredell's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East Wilkes, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Iredell will welcome Newton-Conover at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Wilkes, they will challenge North Surry at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
