Softball Game Preview: Eagle Mountain Knights vs. Snyder Tigers

For the second straight game, Eagle Mountain will face off against Snyder. The Knights will square off against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Eagle Mountain heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They came up short against Snyder, falling 10-2. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

Zoe Hawthorne was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Snyder has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Eagle Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-14-1.
