Soccer Recap: Greene Central Takes a Loss

Greene Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Southside Seahawks. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to the Seahawks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Greene Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Southside, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Greene Central will host Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southside, they will face off against North Pitt at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.
