Softball Recap: Dublin Coffman Gets the Win

Dublin Coffman barely beat North Union the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Shamrocks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 6-0 shutout on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Shamrocks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Dublin Coffman now has a winning record of 3-2. As for North Union, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.

Dublin Coffman and North Union will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Shamrocks will square off against rival Olentangy Liberty at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, North Union is set to take on their familiar foe Tecumseh at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
