They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 70-60 defeat to Donahue Catholic. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Naples Classical in their matchups with Donahue Catholic: they've now lost five in a row.

Erling Berg continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Donahue Catholic, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Berg has scored at least 25% of Donahue Catholic's points.
